Each Langen starts with the person who will ride it: height, reach, how and where they ride. Position, geometry and suspension are set to them. Then paint, finishes and the machined details are chosen with the engineers who will make them. The bike that leaves Wigan fits one person, and it is theirs in every sense.
One workshop. You will know their names.
Engineers and designers who came from CCM, Triumph, BAC, McLaren and M-Sport to build the motorcycles the big factories can't. There is no dealer in between: the person who welds your chassis is the person who answers the phone when you call about it.
Everything on a Langen is there because it has to be. Nothing is there because the brochure needed it.

A Langen weighs what a motorcycle weighed before motorcycles got heavy. The Two Stroke is 120 kg; the Lightspeed, with 185 horsepower, is 185. That is not a specification so much as a point of view: that the pleasure of riding is in how a bike moves beneath you, not in what it does on paper.
